Now to specify, as no one at the autparts stores seem to understand! I need the bolts that MOUNT the CALIPER to the ROTOR/BRAKEDISK. I can't seem to find these things anywhere!! Any help appreciated! Thanks ;]

Hi melsg5, thanks for the reply!

Yes, I apologize for my lack of terminology, strut! I'll remember that. Anywho... I have bene through this with many auto part store reps and those are not the bolts I need, the bolts I need look similar to this one

http://www.amazon.com/Dorman-13898-...1&sr=1-1&keywords=Brake+Caliber+Bracket+Bolts

The mount the whole caliper assembly to the strut. Those guide pins were only to hold the actual caliper to the caliper bracket. Thanks again!

order it from amazon or get the Dorman part number and order it locally

Just spoke with dealership, they said they don't even have the specifications so I will be going to the hardware store today and finding a bolt that matches. When I return should I post the specifications for anyone else?

Those look like the mounting brackets to the spindle bolts. Did you lose/damage the old ones?

You can not use any old hardware store bolt on your brake system if you wish to continue driving accident free. They usually are at least grade 5 if not even grade 8. Be very careful with what you use.

I would think that the dealer would stock this . You may not be explaining it properly, try bringing in the bolt for them to see or try another gm dealer. My montana and buick use the same bolts to hold the caliper bracket on.
