can i change the brakes on my wifes car without blowing the computers mind ? i know it has sencers on everything , just don't know about the braking system .
Yes, You can change the brake pads without any problems. The ABS sensors are part of the bearing hub assembly so you can change pads, rotors, and/or drums as needed without affecting the ABS system. Just changed the brakes on my Torrent this past weekend. Very easy to do. The caliper uses 14mm bolts instead of the old TORX or hex bolts which makes changing the pads very easy.
