Hey guys, I’m on the fence right now about purchasing a 95 grand am se. Its got 53,000 miles and it’s in great condition but reliability wise what should I expect.

You are purchasing a 25 year old vehicle. Have it checked by a shop rather than trying to generalize what to expect.

Have it checked out , 90's cars are some of the best built and longest running cars in GM's history. Not too complicated , the only down fall it was a transition era ( 95-96) when GM switched from OBD1 to OBD2 computer systems and from R12 to 134a freon.
