Cam shaft sensor oil leak G-A 3400 V6

On my 03 G-A with the 3400 V6, I noticed an oil leak underneath the power steering pump and saw what appears to be the camshaft positioning sensor all covered in oil. Would the sensor be the cause of the leak if indeed they are proned to leak or is it actually wishful thinking to avoid facing a lower intake gasket job?

clean off the sensor and the area around it and verify the source of the leak

^^ x2 just took a look at my 2000 GT and the power steering resevoir had a crack the plastic which caused a leak all over. The O ring may have gone bad, but you never know for sure until you clean it.
