uhaul trailer? Hi, I'm moving soon and theres no one to help lol. So unfortunately I need to install a hitch on my car, but I am hoping to be able to make the move all in one trip. I was wondering if the 5x8 uhaul closed trailer can be towed behind a sunfire. I would take the 4x8 trailer but unfortunately, I have a double bed mattress and box spring which will not fit in there? Unless slanted? I'm not sure. Please help. Thanks

You don't say how far your traveling.
But, That's a small car to tow any kind of loaded trailer.
You'll burn the Engine and Transmission up in the car.
I would think U-Haul would have told or warned you of the possible outcomes.
The better option... Rent a large enough U-Haul to haul your belongings and tow your car behind the U-Haul.
It will be less expensive in the long run because you'll still have your car in good shape and won't have to pay to install a hitch on the car.

Think of the transmission, its gonna ruin it. I would NOT recommend this.

Not for long! 4x8 or 5x8 doen't really matter. You'll smoke the tranny and then have to buy a new vehicle!

I would not recommend it. You would be better off renting a small truck and a trailer to carry the car. Your going to ruin your car towing a trailer.
