can i add prestone 50/50 antifreeze to a 2005 pontiac grand am when in the

manual it calls for dexcool?
i do not know how to drain it so will the car be ok till i can get some dexcool antifreeze tommorrow with the temps suppose to be dropping into the 20's tonight. i believe the overflow is 1/2 way below the fill line
but will adding prestone antifreeze be ok when there is probably already dexcool in the car?
 
NEVER use dexcool, its eats away at the engine block. you can use anything!
50/50 of any anti freeze BUT dexcool or dextorn all the dex craps.

gmc was being sued for using the stuff awhile back!
 
you can not mix unless the prestone is compatible with dexicool, prestone does make the correct type to mix with dexicool
