Can i convert a 1998-2002 pontiac firebird automatic to manual?

lookin to a get a 98-02 firebird pontiac but most are automatic

id like a trans am but there so much expensive and being a student....

anyways how much will it cost to convert auto to manual??


and any mods i can do to beef up the v6..
