Can I install a 05 corvette cluster in a 97 firebird?

Hello everyone. I have a project in mind And I have some questions regarding the possibility. I've search the forum for a thread about this but I didn't found anything. If there is a thread and I missed it please forgive me. I realy like the 05 Corvette cluster and I want to install it in a 97 Firebird. Does anyone knows if it is only doable. With some customizing I can manage to install it in the Firebird dash . The thing that I don't know is can I connect it to the Firebird ECU? Do I have just to change the pigtail and that all or do I have to install some kind of adapter? It is not a big deal if all the light and the led screen of the Corvette cluster doesn't work so long as the gauge and the option of the Firebird still working. Also, can I reset the millage on the Corvette cluster? There is maybe too much time between both technology but it's worth to try. I hope that someone can cam up with a solution.

I would use google to try and find if anybody has tried this. You are proposing a very challenging complex project and I was wondering if you have tried looking for alternative gauges for the Bird that dont require major reengineering.
