Hello! I'm trying to identify what make/model this Pontiac emblem came from. Any help would be appreciated!

By the length and colors my guess is 1957 or 1958 since the Indian head emblem was discontinued in 1956 and Pontiac " tried " different type arrowhead emblems until coming up with a permanent design in 1959.

Tried to find a duplicate online, but no match so its just a guess...

No part number under the black stuff ?

Thanks for your input! No, there's no markings under the black gunk. All that's on the back is a very small number '2'.

This really has me stumped.
