Hi everyone, I recently bought a 1970 lemans. I bought it because a friend of mine was selling it and the car is very solid. I like the car but it's not my favorite model and now kinda regret buying it. I absolutely love the front ends of the 1968 and 1969 lemans with the big chrome bumper, they are my favorite of all muscle cars. I believe the hoods are the same. Can a 68/69 lemans front bumper be mounted on the front of my 1970 lemans. Thanks

you would need the complete front end, fenders are different

Would the body lines line up if you put the 68/69 fenders on?

you are correct that wouldnt work because of the body lines that continues onto the door on back.

I didn't think the body lines would line.. It sucks that I couldn't just change the bumper. Thanks a lot

have you considered trying a conversion to a GTO front end?

Yes I have, but from what I understand, the fenders and radiator support are different and the aftermarket noses doesn't come with the tabs to attach the grills and they don't come with the brackets to attach it. If I could find an original gto endura nose it would prob be worth it but I'm sure they are really hard to find in good condition and if you do, they prob sell for a lot of money.
