car parts for '85...

...pontiac fiero? i'm looking at buying an old 1985 pontiac fiero gt. the owner put a new motor in that has 30,000 miles on it. what im most concerned about is if parts will be available for it in case of engine damage, or should the new motor have updated the variety of parts available? ( i don't know what type of motor he put in, sorry)

Parts can be purchased form any auto parts store. There are even a few web sites out there where you can get some really good deals on all kinds of parts and toys. I have an 88 Fiero and I can tell you these cars are very reliable. Mine has over 200k miles and no major work has been done not even a starter.

The engines used in Fieros are extremely common, beyond your wildest imagination. Don't worry about that for a second.
