ok normally i'd spend hours searching but this is a serious problem not of my own. this girl i work with owns a late 90's sunfire and every time she makes a left hand turn the car drifts severely. this does not happen during right hand turns. i drove the car myself in the snow and no matter how much i babied it the car spins sideways making any left hand turn! does anyone know why the sunfire would do this? tires are all brand new btw thank you in advance

Are the tires all the same make and size? Since they are brand new, was the car aligned when they were installed? Is the front end of the car drifting out or the rear end or the whole car? Are you applying gas when this happens or just cruising throught the turn?

no throttle while cornering rear end does slide out and yes alignment was done i already asked those questions. it's something mechanical and i'm not familiar with this platform. all tires are the same.

Have you checked the tire pressure when cold. The recommended pressure should be on the drivers door post. Would assume if it was a competent alignment shop they would have spotted worn ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, or strut related issues but no guarantee on that assumption.
