CARPET WITH OR WITHOUT TAIL?

Need to order new carpet for my 70 firebird. Don't understand this "with tail" or "without tail" terminology. How do l know which style to buy?

Not sure how to send a link. Was looking thru my AMES PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING catalog. It appears the carpet tail would run up under the rear seat. Maybe second gen firebirds could be ordered with flip up rear seats? Or a rear seat delete option?

Resolved this question. Second gen firebirds have separate rear seat bottoms. On the standard interiors, there is a strip of carpet between the rear seat sections. My car is an Esprit model, which comes with the custom interior, which features a strip of vinyl between the rear seats. With the custom interior, you can order the carpet section without the tail.
