Cassette adaptor with a Delco cassette player

I know someone out there can answer this. I have a standard
Delco AM/FM/Cassette in a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird. I want to
connect my single CD plalyer via a casstte adaptor. (wireless
doesn't work well around here)

I know from previous Delco cassettes, it would just eject
the adaptor unless you pressed something when inserting
it.

Any suggestions?

For anyone interested

The cord on the adapter just kept the cassette from seating
properly, so it only takes a light push to make eveything happy.
No noise from the adapte and the sound is quite good.
