Catalyst Monitor not ready what do I need to do to get this emissions setting ready

Have a CATALYST MONITOR setting for emissions not ready.
99 Montana. What do I have to do to get this setting ready?
Battery was disconnected and all other monitors have become ready but not the Catalyst Monitor. Have driven 100 miles and still not ready.

The little I know, has to do with not only miles driven but # of starts also.

Is the Check Engine Light on? Have you pulled the code?

No MIL or check enging light

All other emissions monitors ready. Have driven at varying speeds with multiple start ups and cool downs in order to complete a drive cycle. Still have catalyst monitor not ready.

That does sound weird, and that is alot of miles for it not to be ready.

No Codes or MIL light just catalyst monitor not ready

When I put a scan tool on the OBDII connector and select emission monitors it shows the EGR and evap monitors ready. There is no MIL or Check Engine light and no pending codes. The Catalyst Monitor shows that it is present on the Montana but it is not ready. Need to get this ready to pass emissions testing.

I dont know what state you live in but have you checked the regulations, typically if you have no SES light on and no codes the vehicles passes.

From what I understand, the computer randomly tests for readiness. It may not have tested it recently
