'64 Coupe - With a warm engine, selecting "D" from "N" with foot on brake, I get a gravelly noise from the front of the car. Ceases when returning to "N" and everything evens out. Noises returns when going back to "D". Just enough noise to tell one that something is amiss.

have someone sit in the drivers seat while you track down the source of the noise. Depending on the source you may have to put it on a lift.

Tightened the alternator belt and things seem quieter. Thanks!
