Is it possible to change an alternator in an 87 4cyl Fiero with out removing the tires? The car came to me with locking lug nuts on it and no key. I've tried splines on it and using JB Weld to get a regular socket on it. I just can't get them out myself and I can't drive it to the garage with out changing the alternator. I have all but one bolt off of it. The lower bolt that holds the alternator to the bottom bracket is the only one left. Does this bolt require a wrench/socket on both sides, or just the one? I'm hoping you say just the one so that I can get this done. Ha.
