my boyfriend is going to buy a car and right now he is looking at a Chevrolet Cobalt or a Pontiac Grand AM. Can anyone who has one give me some feedback on these cars? Do you like it? Would you suggest it to someone who was car shopping? etc.
 
To be honest, neither of them excel in any category. The Cobalt has EXTREMELY inexpensive parts making repair VERY cheap. Go for the Cobalt.
 
i bought a 06 cobalt ss/sc (the supercharged model). loved the car until i started to mod it. lets just say the car isnt race track friendly. other than problems with warranty (not related to the track), i love the car and would buy another if i didnt repo it.

I've test driven a Cobalt and it's a decent car. If you have a ton of money to blow, the grand am is the one to take a chunk out of your wallet. I've been down the grand am road and I'm not a happy camper!!! :mad:
