clutch doesn't disengage

if i pump the clutch sometimes it'll kick in...sometimes the clutch works great
other times it seems hopeless...i've bled the clutch before and i'll work for a little after that but keeps goin back to not working....has anyone had this kindaproblem before?

either you clutch slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder need repair/replacement or the hose has a leak

i know its an old thread but is there a way to tell whether its one or the other?
i have the same issue, pedal went dwn to floor and stayed therre. after a few pumps, the clutch was wrking again. another garage said its for sure the clutch but theres no slipping. except the fluid in the reservoir seems to be contaminated. its almost black! im not aware of anyone mixing the fluid with another fluid that shouldnt be in there!?

place the front of the car on jackstands, have someone step or pump the clutch pedal and see if the slave cylinder moves. Your best bet is to replace both master and slave.
