Hello all

Now about a month ago I was driving put the clutch down and went to put it into gear and it went to the floor. Got out and saw that there was a leak. Fixed the clutch line and ever since then I have bled the thing 500 times and still no clutch and will not engage a gear.

Now proper bleeding procedure; I am doing it by myself lol. I have the bleeder screw tight, pump the clutch, hold the clutch down and untighten the bleeder screw. refill and keep doing the whole process. While all of this I have the push rod that goes into the slave wedged back the whole time. Now what am I doing wrong here.

Thanks in advance

how are you holding the clutch pedal down and opening the bleeder on the slave cylinder at the same time and why are you wedging the push rod back?

I have been using a hockey stick lol. I was told that the push rod had to be depressed.

this is the procedure, no mention about the push rod, you need a friend to help you not a hockey stick!

When I changed the slave cylinder in the summer that was the procedure i went by and all worked out well now it is not working for me. And I did it by myself so I am confused I will read that thread though

are you wedging the hockey stick on the clutch pedal, if so how is that going to fully depress the pedal?

the stick is long enough to completely depress the pedal while I let the bleeder off. Maybe I will just have someone help me, just no one is ever around when you need them to be.

so I think the issue was the high pressure fuel line I put on to fix it in the middle. I understand there is too much flex and need to put in a steel line. So I bought a piece of steel line, the pressure balls to attach. I bought the 1/4 inch i believe is the right size. When I was attaching the lines together with the balls the joining just comes apart. does it only get tighter once you start bleeding it so that the balls stretch and keep the pressure in. Reason I ask all this is that on either end of the clutch line are braided lines and I am told that I cant just buy them and have to have them made, so I am trying to fix it in the middle. I just want it fixed as the snow is coming.
