Hey all... newbie. I have a 69 Firebird with a factory green top. The original color is champagne with a green interior and green top. It has a white interior now and a white top, but I'm going back to stock.

Question: Is there a breakdown anywhere about how many 69 Firebirds were sold with colored tops? If so, how many by color?

Thanks.

when you say colored tops you mean the car has a vinyl roof? if so it was a popular option on many cars and would not be a rarity

It's a convertible, and it came with a green convertible top. Color choices were green, blue, black, white and gold. I watch eBay a lot for these and only seen a few come up, mostly green and blue.

I would think that color combo would be pretty rare, but you could order any color combo you wanted. Not many would have been made with a convertible green top without the body being green. Don't know if the rarity would make it more valuable though, strange color combos appeal to a smaller car collector crowd. You might be able to get some info through the PHS. Not totally sure though. Good luck on getting the info and post some pics of the car.

More info helps. Some time on the internet with your VIN would probably narrow the search quite a bit.
