I am trying to disconnect the coolant bypass pipe that snakes around the engine and connects to some coolant connections near the fire wall. In between the firewall and the hard coolant pipe, there is another connection that appears to look like a "quick disconnect" with plastic tabs on the inside that make it appear you should be able to just squeeze and pull apart. Has anyone removed this pipe before and know the correct way to remove this connection? I can go to the hose clamp all the way at the firewall but was hoping to remove at the quick disconnect area.
Thanks
