Couple of Questions

97 Sunfire 2.2. Have lots of different answers of this one.

1 Brown anti-freeze. It it just bad coolant or another issue. Most are saying head gasket but engine was just replaced. So, I'm figuring its a dirty block and may need several flushes to get clean... Any thoughts?

2 Fan isn't kicking on when at operating temp? Checked fuses (all good). Possible thermostat? Since it needs flushed may as well change the thermo as well...

1. Replace your coolant.
2. Can be bad fan, bad relay, bad sensor. Start by applying power directly to fan.

The fan should come on above operating temp. Aprox 230 degrees or so.
