Courtesy lights won't go off killing battery

Any ideas what might cause the courtesy lights to stay on I can pull the fuse but then I have no horn or the convertible top won't work

What Year ? (92 -94 use the powerlocks to operate the dome light .. another brillant idea from GM engineers)

I converted mine to old school door jam pin switches..... the boss on the body is still there.

You can pull the bulb for now.

Courtesy lights not working

Thanks for the reply It's a 92 Convertible so I have no dome light does the door lock operate the courtesy lights etc;

Yes, same deal on convertibles. GM bulletin on the problem with the the locks grounding out: ( 92-94 Sunbirds included)

Also there is a alarm relay ( square) under the dash somewhere that goes bad .

The relay is located in one of the kick panels ( not 100% sure , they "say")

Did you try to remove the power lock curcut breaker (#17 above) from the fuse box?
