Hi everyone, 2002 Montana courtesy lights will not shut off automaically, have to turn off by pushing switch on upper control panel. Dimmer switch functions propery. If left on will drain battery, does when any door is opened. Is there a timer module somewhere and if so where is it located and what is the proper name for it so i can purchase one. Thank for any assistance you can provide..Bob

Check for an open door ( all doors ) , defective courtesy light door switch, or short in interior light electrical circuitry.

Check the dimmer switch, open the door, turn the wheel a little bit dimmer left, as if you could dim the dash light. Then I spoke to him this is correct and the dome light did'nt come on, at least until I opened the door, and then the dome light came on. Although the dimmer will dim down the dash light. Thus, although the dome light are on, I left the switch turned to the right, to see if the dome light goes out at all.
