Crank Position Sensor location 2.2 ecotec

Hello I just bought a 2002 Grand Am and I believe the crank position sensor is bad, but I can't find it and the information on the internet is misleading every site tells me a different location, If this was the 2.4 I'd have no issues but the 2.2 seems like a rare engine

Behind the starter, did you have the code read or just a guess?

It was a trade in at a dealership they ran it through there shop decided it was not worth fixing and sold it to me wholesale for 700$
hopefully the dealership was honest haha

so I will have to remove the starter correct? just trying to get all my tools sorted so I can try and fix it in the dealership lot
