Cv shaft vibration?

Have a vibration during acceleration now. Notice it right off idle. Still feel it at 40-50 even in neutral. I inspected carrier bearing. Seems tight. Been told it might be inner cv joint. How do you really inspect them?

Always thought CV joints are checked by doing slow speed turns listening for noise.
Sure you don't have a wheel balance problem?

I put on a 2nd set of wheels/tires and the vibration remains. Other wheels were on a similar suv I own so I know they are ok.

Took off rear driveshaft. Vibration is gone.
