I just bought a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT it has been sitting outside for seven years I replace the gas tank sending unit spark plugs air filter transmission fluid and filter I’ve got the car to start part of the dash lights are out the gas gauge doesn’t work and the temperature gauge does not work if I clean all the connections or do I need to replace the dash

Did you try taking the wire coming from the gas gauge connected to the sender, removing it and grounding it to see if the gauge moves?
