Depleted battery

Greetings ! I have a 07 Torrent , I was parked, engine off with only the stereo on , when I went to start up , the battery was pretty much depleted. I called my buddy for a boost & it started up with ease. I cannot believe the radio would have depleted the charge in only a few hours !? Has this happened to anyone else? It is the original battery.

have the battery and charging system and all connections checked, the battery could be as much as 4 years old so it is possible that it is at the end of it's it's lifespan

We have an 07 torrent, delivered Jan 07. Battery needed to be replaced in July 2011. Pretty poor lifespan, not covered under GMPP. Poop on GM..

Batteries tires brakes etc are considered "wear Items".

80 Torrent Battery

My battery did the same thing three times, just with the radio on. My understanding is that there are also other think running when on Accessory. Load tests report everything is fine. Got fed up after the third time and replaced stock battery.

Here I am again....On March 16/11 I reported battery trouble.....well it occurred again recently & this time I had the battery replaced after a load test was performed.
