hello again Pontiac people.
really want to do a disc brake swap soon. I would like a kit that comes with everything needed to do the swap and I also want to improve the steering of the car. taller spindles are an option from what I hear. Could I get some guidance on where to start? right stuff detailing makes a single piston brake kit that comes with spindles and the booster. would this be a good kit to use? I stay on the street with the car and would like to get a performance style when I'm done with it.

It always is a good idea to post the year of the car, I will guess from previous posts that you have a 1971? I also am guessing you are talking about front only? The Right Stuff kit looks like it has the same components as the Ames Performance kit. So either kit would be fine.

yes sorry you are correct. 71 lemans. what is the difference in performance between the single and double piston calipers?

when working correctly the 2 pistons ones would work slightly better (slightly) but they were prone to leaking and are much more expensive to repair and harder to find parts for. the 69 and later (71 and later with updated proportioning valve) would be the better choice. or you could look into a Scare bird conversion. Simple to do no spindle change required.
