Discontinued steering shaft?

Hey guys I have a 09 torrent gxp fwd and I’ve come across the lower ujoint in the steering shaft/intermediate shaft and I just wanted to know if anyone came across having a alternative route or guides to finding one that fits. Does anyone know the list of compatible ones? Or similar ones? I’ve checked local scrapyards and part stores with no luck, and im running out of faith

If you just want the u-joint you most likely will not find a part number since the Dealer will just replace the entire shaft for repair. If you want to replace just the u-joint you'll need to remove it from the shaft and match it up by size. I do this for lots of drive shafts that only list an entire shaft for replacement and not just the U-joint. I do a lot of Audi's that have a bad u-joint in the drive shaft and most places just replace the entire drive shaft which is grossly expensive. Search through online u-joint catalogs for one that meets the dimensions.
