Does a 2000 Pontiac Montana have a plug in to keep it warm for winter weather?

I live in a VERY cold area and I just got a 2000 pontiac montana. I am wondering if it has a plug in to keep it warm during the winter without turning it on? I would hate to wake up for work and not be able to start it!

I believe that it was an option. Pretty well a standard option in the north and less common in the south. You should be able to find the plug if you look around the front of the engine compartment.

You have to get an engine block warmer from your local GM dealer it replaces one of the engine plugs and it plugs into a standard extension cord. Last time I looked they were about 35-40 dollars. I do not know how hard it would be to install but in my opinion its easier to just have a car starter installed. They are not standard they are optional.
