Does an '88 Pontiac Firebird meet CA Clean Air Standards?

because I live in California now... and I'd like to take my car along with me.

If not, then is there a way I can make it meet the standards? (I love my car!)
 
contact the california DMV or EPA.
 
I believe you can have the car tested and grandfathered in at a "referee" station for C.A.R.B. (california air resources board) I believe all it has to do is pass basic 49 state standards to be ok... but you would want to check with them first..
