So I was just screwing around looking at some different sites on line and I noticed that a couple places sell methanol. Well I'm not an enthusiast of the stuff so I really didn't know much about it and took a further look into what it is. One thing I noticed though is no where online are their any reviews of the products nor have I heard anyones opinions on the stuff. Does anyone even use the stuff? And the only thing I can tell is it's similar to running your car on high octane racing fuel. Is there any other advantage to this stuff?

BTW this isn't me wanting to use this in anyway it's just curiousity. LOL Meth.. that's funny. It's like speed for your car... lol

EDIT: Ah I did learn something new today. They think the big bang was caused by a cloud of this stuff and that another cloud is forming in space and will continue to form over millions of years till it causes another one. lol. Nothing about it's application in cars though.

it's not compatible in high concentrations with the rubber found in older fuel systems. On the East Coast it is either 10% or 15% in pump gas, dont they have it where you are?

and E85 is very rare where I'm at. You can really only find it on the nevada and oregon boarders

ok, I'll have to look again, I think I have methanol and ethanol confused, thanks.

yeah ethonal is drinkable alcohol. Methonal is wood alcohol and is very unstable. It's supposed to make a tank of 91 run like it's a tank of like 130 or something.
