I have a 2000 Bonnieville Millenium Edition that, until yesterday, was in mint condition. I was rear-ended on the freeway and now it's about to be totaled. I was told that the special 'Millenium Edition' was only put on a few hundred cars thus making it more valuable. However, I am having trouble finding any documentation to support that it has more worth than a regular SE. Vin Number 1G2HX54K4Y4246632 03. Can anyone help me establish it's value?

do you have anything that shows the cost of the Millennium addition option? Original bill of sales, window sticker, etc.

No original paperwork

We do not have any original paperwork showing the cost of the ME option. This was actually a gift to my daughter from her Dad, and that did not come with it. We do not know who he purchased this from, whether it was the original owner or already used. He told us that about the car, but has not been able to provide any documentation to go with it. Therefore we do not know.

well I have come up with just about nothing. I cannt even verify that it was an actual option in 2000. You can try taking the VIN to any GM dealer service department and ask if they could print out a vehicle history including options.

I have also Struck out finding anything online about the Millenium Edition, beginning to believe it may be a dealer option package.

I don't remember a Vinyl top being a factory option on that generation Bonneville's, I also can't find a picture of the emblem you posted. If it is possible pull 1 of the emblems off and see if there is a part number on it anywhere. That may help track some info down.

no matter what you do you have normal insurance on the car, not collector insurance with a stated value. So even if this Millennium package was $2k back in 2000, today it would have mininmal effect on the value of the car for purposes of totalling it by the insurance company.
