Does The 88 Pontiac Fiero have over heating problems?

I'm thinking about buying my friends 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT with the 2.8. But before I want to buy it, I would like to know if they have any over heating problems or any other problems that I should worry about.

Unless it has a bad water pump,thermostat,radiator or head gasket bad it should have no issues at all.Let it sit and run at full temp and watch the temp gauge and see if it gets hot.
