Door Jamb Wind Lace / what to do with end? See pics

I am installing new door qtr panels on 68 Lemans. I also installed new door jamb wind lace. Its all good except I do not know what to do with the end of the lace that meets at the top of the panel/window. See my pic. Where does this end go? Can someone provide pictures of their door jamb area? Thanks . . .JIMB

In the catalogue from www.amesperf.com it shows earlier years used an end cap but doesnt mention 68. Why dont you contact them. If you can wait I can check on the weekend what my 71 uses.

Update. There is a notch in the metal where the wind lace tucks into. Nice design? See pic
