Hey, folks. Driver side seatback lever was stripped out, causing much frustration and inopportune stuckness of the seat position. Noticed the part is discontinued everywhere.
Husband macgyvered it, per the photos. Stick a screw through the side, basically, to jam and secure it so it stops spinning. Panel was a slight pain to remove to access the lever hardware, but you DO NOT need to remove the whole front seat per another forum on a different site advises. There's about 3 screws (front, back, and side of seat) to remove, unless some of them have already fallen out in the previous 20 years which was my luck. He did use a tap & die kit to make the hole and threads for the screw.
