Hello All,
New to the forum. I have a 2000 pontiac firebird V6 that is my daily driver. It does NOT have the Monsoon speaker system, just the stock system.
I went to upgrade the rear speakers in the back seat because one was blown and I wasn't getting sound out of the other side. Turns out, their was only one blown speaker and no speaker on the other side. So, I had a set of speakers that would fit nicely as replacements. I took out the blown speaker, clipped the speaker wire and connector off of it, wired it to the new speaker and just plugged it in via the GM speaker connector. It worked perfectly. I want to do the same for the other side, but again, there was no stock speaker for me to take the wire and connector from and wire it to the new speaker.
My question is this, all I need is the speaker wire AND CONNECTOR so I can wire it to the existing replacement speaker I already have, plug it in and mount it. Do you know if this would be the correct connector that I would have to order to be able to accomplish this? I could disassemble the other side again and take a look, but if someone knows off the top of their head, it would be appreciated... He's the connector I am wondering would work?

Thanks
