Swapping ECU / BCM - swap ignition cylinder as well?

Hi everyone.

I have to change out the ECU and BCM on my torrent. I have a parts car.
I was just wondering if I should also swap the ignition cylinder lock as well? Would that make the computer and theft systems work or would I have to reprogram the keys doing the 30 min reset ?
 
In theory they should match each other but it's unusual that both ECM and BCM need to be replaced.
 
I was told a while ago that the BCM would need replacing.
And as for the ECU , my 4 year old son decided it would be fun to play with/take for a bath and pour bubbles into it haha
