EGR delete

I just bought a 2004 Grand Am GT and the tube that goes into the exhaust manifold from the EGR somebody cut it off and it's seized into the exhaust manifold I cannot get it out for nothing my question is is there a way I can just block off where the EGR bolts to the engine and unplug the harness or what would be my next steps other than messing with getting that out of there I don't mind if it throws codes as long as it runs right it looks like somebody took JB weld input over top of where the tube goes in to the exhaust manifold so I don't know what to do is there a way just to bypass it any info would be appreciated

If you have no leak and no codes and no other issue related to it, do nothing.
