Hey all,
2003 Grand Am 3.4
just received my used motor this morning. and upon inspection, found a slight difference between the one in the car I am working on.
The one in the car has the basic EGR valve that hooks by the intake throttle valve and has the single flex line coming out the back of it. the used motor, however, has that, plus 2 valves on the front and back of the engine with a solid metal line that taps into the head in 4 spots (2 in the front, 2 in the back). I really do not want to swap heads, and was wondering if you can just plug the holes in the used motor and remove the additional EGR components. let me know if you need some more info.
Thanks
