i have been having trouble with my 88 gt 2.8 idle, its been sticking around 2 grand after its warmed up. i replaced the IAC and the MAP sensor with no luck, but today a hiss cough my ear close to the EGR valve. i sprayed some TB cleaner around it and the engine picked up a few rpm. my EGR is VERY rusty and in need of replacement, but is still working....other than the leak. my question is would this little leak cause the high idle, running rich, and after its warm having a hard time restarting?
