Electrical problems

I have a 2000 Sunfire, first problem was instrument lights didn't work at night and temp gauge did not function as well and also no car alarm system when I open the door and get in. I checked the fuses and pulled out the cluster fuse and re-installed it. Now the radio theft light is on and no radio, and no odometer reading as well, but now the temp gauge works and the car alarm system now works. What the heck happened??

sounds like the fuse had a bad connection and your radio is no longer capable of retaining the VIN in it's mmeory. Below is one of many videos on how to reset a vehicle with theftlock.

Viewed the video went to the car did as told and no codes popped up on the radio. Still with a radio, do i have to go to the dealer to get the radio reset?

Have you searched for other videos? If you cannt find one that works it is dealer time.

Yeah i searched other video's, the other problem is trying to read the front of the radio which is almost impossible. Seems when i hold the 2 and 3 together no codes display that i can see.
