So for the last year my Pontiac Trans Am has had what I assume to be an electrical problem. It started with the radio. It would cut on and off for a few seconds at a time. I mean the whole thing would lose power, no display no lights at all. And of course each time it powered up or down my atenna would act accordingly. I was told it was the radio so I replaced it. Okay for about a week then it started again. Next when the radio went "dead" so did my ability to raise windows up and down as well as operate my door locks. So basically I was locked in "electrically" until the radio powered back up and so did everything else. I then noticed my windows were no longer operatable nor did my radio continue to run after I turned the car off like it usually did w/o removing the key. When I turned the key back to keep the radio on for bout 10 min., when I went to engage the ignition and start car again the radio would go dead along with windows and locks. Finally about 3 months ago I started hearing a low "grind" coming from inside or behind my dashboard. Its truely getting worse. Its 12y/o and I expect problems but noone seems to know whats going on not even the Pontiac Tech I took it to.
