Engine idles Poorly

Hi,

I have a 2001 Sunfire, 2.2 engine.
The car was running OK. Sometimes there was a little missfire, the engine did not run smoothly.
About a week ago, while driving the car, the yellow service light came on, along with the red pad locked symbol
and the engine started to run poorly since then. I tried to check the codes with my Obd 2 scanner, but nothing came up.

Please, can someone help me find the problem ?

You need to find out why the scanner didnt work. The OBD port that you plug the scanner in has a fuse, quite often it is the same fuse as the cigarette lighter. See if the fuse is blown. Watch this video to test the port.
