engine loses power and sputters

I have a 2003 Grand Am, It was losing power and sputtering once engine warmed up. Changed the converter a fewmonths ago with a after market converter. Seemed to solve the problem for a short time. Since then have changed plugs and fuel pump. Still having the same problem. Could the converter be plugged again....any ideas

Do you have a check engine light on, if so, what is the code?

The check engine light came on and went out. It kicked a engine miss fire code.
