I used an engine out of a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero an put it in my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am Gt do I have to replace the oil pan oil sensor or can I by pass it?

How do I get the low oil light off

Disconect the plug off the sensor , Put a jumper wire between the teminals, tape it all up so it doesnt touch ground, zip tie it away from everything..

If you have the plug and the oil pan has the sensor why haven't you just plugged it in?
Is there more going on, like the engine doesn't start?
