Exact reproduction gas pedal?

They dont provide a picture only a description so I cannt tell anymore about it than you can. You can try calling them. I thought all you needed was the spring? Have you downloaded the Firebird Catalogue from www.amesperf.com? They have a complete picture on Page 173 and the spring placed in the middle of the pin holds the pedal on.

I downloaded it and went to page 173 cant find the pic. Please upload pic for me

Sorry about page number should be 210.

Thanks i found it! However im not sure i made it exactly clear..the pedal itself works perfectly and everything the only probably im habing with the pedal is getting it to stay on..basically the pin wiggles its way out after a little bit causing the pedal to fall off and im not sure where a spring would even come in to play there...not really a big deal just want it to be perfect

The pin, if it's the correct one, has a narrow section in the center. This is where the coil of the spring goes and the tension of the spring prevents the pin from falling out since it cannt go beyond the narrow center section of the pin.

Okay yes it is the correct pin then, however if it cant go past the narrow part then how exactly do i get the spring to the center

Do you have the spring and have you tried to assemble it? If not it should be pretty obvious once you actually have everything in hand. The spring fits over the pin but once under tension the coil is forced against the pin and cannt slide past the narrow section.
