Felpro Head Gasket - which side up

I have installed head gaskets before that state THIS END UP on one side so you know which side should face the head and not the block. On the felpro set I just purchased, there is NO writing indicating THIS END UP. One side does say FELPRO (stamped) and is all gray. The other side is gray with a blue diagonal marks across the entire surface. There are no instructions to indicate which surface should face the block vs the head? I've searched felpros site and other locations but have not found an answer.

Does anyone have an opinion as to which side should face upwards towards the head?
